Editorial Policy

Our readers rely on us to tell them the truth about apps. This policy explains the standards every SignedAPK article must meet.

Independence

Our reviews are independent. Developers, advertisers and affiliate partners never see a review before it’s published, can’t change it, and can’t pay for a better score. If a developer gives us free access to a paid plan, we say so at the top of the review. That access never affects the score.

First-hand testing

We only review apps we have actually installed and used. Every full review is based on at least 7 days of hands-on testing on real devices, following the process described in How We Test. All screenshots are our own, taken on our test devices, unless clearly labelled as developer images.

Accuracy and sourcing

• Every claim in a review is something we observed, something we measured, or something clearly attributed to its source (for example, “the developer says…”).
• Prices, versions and features are checked on the date shown in the article.
• Before publication, every review is checked by an editor who did not write it.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with spelling, grammar or organising notes. We do not use AI to write reviews, invent test results or create opinions. The testing, findings and verdict in every review come from a named member of our team who used the app.

What we cover, and what we don’t

We review free and paid apps that are legally distributed by their developers. We do not cover or link to pirated, cracked or modified apps, or apps that stream copyrighted content without a licence.

Updates and corrections

Apps change constantly, so we re-check our reviews regularly and after major updates. When we find or are told about an error, we fix it quickly and say what changed. See our Corrections & Updates Policy.

How we make money

SignedAPK is funded by advertising and, in some cases, affiliate links. Our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure explains how. Money never decides what we review or how we score it.
